GM! It’s Brett. I went from knowing little about engineering to pushing more code than 99% of startup engineers. I actually verified it.

My secret is boring but serious. I take this line literally:

“research the industry-standard approach to this problem. use it to guide yours”

If you're creating something, never start from scratch. to do great things you must emulate the greats.

👀 AI created a new 6-figure job for non-coders

Lazar Jovanovic is a full-time “professional vibe coder” at Lovable. He ships real internal tools and customer-facing products using AI, without a traditional coding background. And yes, this is now a six-figure role.

The big shift is that code is no longer the bottleneck. Clarity is.

Lazar spends most of his time planning, writing PRDs, structuring context, and guiding AI agents. Not prompting harder, but thinking clearer. He treats AI like a genie with limited wishes. Every vague instruction wastes output quality.

One underrated advantage of non-coders is that they do not know what is “not supposed to work.” That mindset leads to more experimentation and fewer self-imposed limits.

When things break, he follows a simple debugging loop. Let the agent try first. Add logs and observe behavior. Bring in another tool if needed. If it still fails, roll back and simplify the ask. He then documents what worked in rules files so the agent improves over time.

Another key idea is parallel building. Instead of perfecting one prototype, he spins up four or five versions at once to sharpen thinking faster.

Design taste and judgment matter more than ever. When everyone can ship fast, good enough is no longer enough.

AI in HR? It’s happening now.

Deel's free 2026 trends report cuts through all the hype and lays out what HR teams can really expect in 2026. You’ll learn about the shifts happening now, the skill gaps you can't ignore, and resilience strategies that aren't just buzzwords. Plus you’ll get a practical toolkit that helps you implement it all without another costly and time-consuming transformation project.

💥 This Claude Code technique let me ship 40+ features in 2 months

These are not just any features but many of the most popular apps you use took months or years to perfect and engineers say are too tough to prioritize.

My secret is the first step of my Claude code process.

I start with a skill "/research" that creates a swarm of up to 20 agents that scour the web for all information on something I'm looking to build.

  • how my competitors and the incumbents do it

  • industry best practices

  • what users say on reddit and forums about it

Then the agent runs through our entire codebase to come up with 3 options for how we can implement the feature ourselves so that

  • it aligns to industry standards

  • beats user expectations

  • is fast to execute

The most important part is that EVERYTHING IS DOCUMENTED - research docs, project proposals and other findings along the way

So when anyone on my team is working on anything, they start with "refer to internal-docs" and the agent has full context.
