Gm. Brett, again! I recently shared a recommendation for this amazing service I've been using - Athena - and there was a TON of interest from you all. Athena basically sets you up with an amazing (yet very affordable) full-time executive assistant that helps you manage everything from your email to meeting scheduling and more. Our EA Maria even helps onboard advertisers for Homescreen!
Anyway, wanted to remind you all of this amazing deal they're offering Homescreen subscribers - if you sign up in the next 2 weeks, you skip the waitlist (itās long!) and get a free month along with personalized onboarding.
Check it out here.

Big Tech Earnings SZN
Itās that time of the year again: the period when we can see which companies are actually doing well.
AKA: earnings season.
First up are giants, rivals, and AI enthusiasts, Alphabet and Microsoft.
Alphabet
Googleās parent company had a pretty good day at the office:
Revenue of $74.6B, beating expectations for $72.75B.
Earnings per share of $1.44, beating expectations for $1.32.
Google ad revenues of $58.14B, beating expectations for $57.5B.
YouTube ad revenues of $7.66B, beating expectations for $7.41B.
Google Cloud was profitable to the tune of $395M.
Not much to complain about there if youāre a Googler, and the result of all this good news was a 6% jump in after-hours for a stock already up 40% this year.
Microsoft
Contrary to Alphabet, Microsoftās earnings were more of a mixed bag:
Revenue of $56.19B, beating expectations for $55.47B.
Earnings per share of $2.69, beating expectations for $2.55.
Cloud revenue of $23.99B, beating expectations for $23.79B.
Personal computing revenue of $13.91B, beating expectations for $13.58B.
Forecast of $54.30B in revenue next quarter, lower than the $54.94B expected.
Even with all of the expectations beating last quarter, the poor forecast for next quarter led to the stock slipping 4% in after-hours trading.
The Big Picture: Alphabet and Microsoftās earnings foreshadow a strong last quarter for the mega tech companies. Letās see if Amazon, Meta, and Appleās earnings confirm that thought.
š SPACE
Starship The Spaceship
When it comes to space travel, Starship is as revolutionary as it gets. The largest rocket known to man could:
Put people on Mars.
Send ridiculous amounts of payload to space.
Serve as a high-speed point-to-point terrestrial transport for equipment or people (shoutout ArsTechnica).
Thatās all dope, but would you like another?
How about turning Starship into a commercial space station?
This is particularly interesting because the International Space Station (ISS) is being decommissioned in 2030, and there are no government plans to build another. So, itās up to the private sector to build a replacement.
Obviously, there are a lot of hurdles to SpaceXās Starship spaceship plans. Itās a tiny bit more complicated than just saying itās a space station now.
But, SpaceX isnāt the only company attempting to fill the ISS-sized hole. Nanoracks, Blue Origin, Northrup Grumman, and Axiom Space are all working on their own commercial space station.
Thatās a lot of brainpower working on this problem.
And for those of us who want to see Humans become an interstellar species, itās an encouraging sight.
The Big Picture: Itās a great time to be a space enthusiast, as the space (ha get it?) is as hot as itās been in a long time.
