Numbers to know

Each week we share a stat in the newsletter that caught our eye. Here are five especially good ones that you can whip out to impress your friends.

  1. +88%: Tiger Global has already invested in nearly double the amount of startups over the first quarter of this year compared to last year. Insight Partners (+32%), and a16z (+15%) have also picked up the pace compared to 2021.

  2. 460: Stanford has produced the most funded startup founders since 2021. Across both undergraduate and MBA students, it boasts 460 founders with Harvard a distant second at 399.

  3. $4.5 billion: Women-led venture funds have already raised more than they did in the entirety of 2021 and over 2x the amount raised in 2020.

  4. โ€‹โ€‹$476 million worth of ETH changed hands during Yuga Labs' Otherdeeds mint, the highest volume day in OpenSeaโ€™s history.
