GM! It’s Brett. Last week was the hardest in years.
Months of work, happy users, real momentum - and then a sudden hit out of nowhere, right before a big launch - someone reported our chrome app and somehow got it taken down for no apparent reason.
On top of that: bugs, pressure, and the constant juggling of product, marketing, people, and expectations. It sucks!
But I do have a recipe an amazing coach gave me for moments like this: be Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour. Say the truth. tie optimism to effort. don’t quit. imagine you’re the main character.
It is hard to digest frameworks like this when stuff is really bad, but its helped me a ton and is what is getting me through everything right now.

👀 She built a personal OS in 50 minutes
Teresa Torres (legend in product, wrote the book Continuous Discovery Habits) does something that sounds fake until you watch it.
Every morning, she opens Obsidian + two terminal windows, types /today, and Claude Code:
checks Trello for anything new from her team
runs a python script and generates a “today.md” with overdue items + what’s due today + in-progress projects
drops in a fresh research digest link it pulled from the web
Then she uses the same setup to write, to outline in plan mode, and to iterate like a sparring partner. She still writes every word, but Claude is the editor + researcher + typo hunter + momentum bully.
The part that matters: she treats “context” like an asset.
3 layers:
Global rules (tiny)
Project rules (writing vs tasks)
Reference context files (business, audience, differentiators) - only loaded when needed
Her rule of thumb: if you’re explaining the same thing twice, turn it into a context file.

Ship the message as fast as you think
Founders spend too much time drafting the same kinds of messages. Wispr Flow turns spoken thinking into final-draft writing so you can record investor updates, product briefs, and run-of-the-mill status notes by voice. Use saved snippets for recurring intros, insert calendar links by voice, and keep comms consistent across the team. It preserves your tone, fixes punctuation, and formats lists so you send confident messages fast. Works on Mac, Windows, and iPhone. Try Wispr Flow for founders.

😱 Linux founder said AI writes better code than he does
The founder of Linux - one of the most respected engineers in the world - said AI now writes better code than he does. Engineers at Google and Stripe are saying AI is writing more than 90% of their code.
That should scare you, or free you.
November 24 was the biggest career inflection point in my life, because I felt it.
When Anthropic released Opus, something changed for me personally: for the first time in my life, I can take ideas end to end.
No waiting on someone else, no “I just need a dev,” no dependency between imagination and execution.
For engineers, refusing to use AI is opting out of the future and for non-technical people, this is the unlock you’ve been waiting for.
The tools are basically free. There’s an AI supergenius in your pocket and it will teach you everything if you let it.
Failure now isn’t about talent or access, it’s about denial.
20 years from now, someone will ask what you did when this became possible. Choose an answer you’re proud of.
