🏠 DALL-E 3 And Me
Throw prompt engineering to the side
Gm! Brett, again! I recently shared a recommendation for this amazing service I've been using - Athena - and there was a TON of interest from you all. Athena basically sets you up with an amazing (yet very affordable) full-time executive assistant who helps you manage everything from your email to meeting scheduling and more. Our EA Maria even helps onboard advertisers for Homescreen!
Anyway, wanted to remind you all of this amazing deal they're offering Homescreen subscribers - if you sign up in the next 2 weeks, you skip the waitlist (it’s long!) and get a free month along with personalized onboarding.
Check it out here.

DALL-E Is New And Improved

AI art is awesome. Just take a look at the AI spiral staircase taking the tech world by storm, or any of the cover images on my blog. Think I could have drawn those myself? Heck to the no.
But AI art isn’t perfect. The models often got things wrong, especially with longer prompts. In other words, it’s very difficult to get AI to draw exactly what you are picturing in your brain.
Enter DALL-E 3. Which, as OpenAI puts it, “understands significantly more nuance and detail than our previous systems, allowing you to easily translate your ideas into exceptionally accurate images”.
Basically, DALL-E 3 transforms your thoughts into pictures like no other model before it. For example:

That’s way cool on its own, but it still requires the skill of prompt engineering to utilize to its fullest extent. If you’re just an average Joe and not an AI whisperer, that’s not very helpful for you.
Luckily, DALL-E 3 has this front covered as well, as it is connected with ChatGPT. When you have an idea, all you have to do is tell ChatGPT about it and it will automatically work with DALL-E to bring it to life.
Observe:
That, my friends, is next level.
And it’s coming to ChatGPT plus and Enterprise customers in early October.
The Big Picture: The much-hyped skill of “prompt engineering” might already be obsolete.
