🏠 Bing still exists???
U must be kidding

ChatGPT did not write this newsletter.

AI
Microsoft 🤝 ChatGPT

Yo Google, watch out, Bing is coming.
That is because Microsoft is working on launching a version of its flagship search engine enhanced by everyone's favorite AI chat buddy, ChatGPT.
ChatBing
Microsoft is no stranger to OpenAI:
They invested $1 billion into Sam Altman's army of robot monkeys back in 2019.
The two companies have been working on developing AI supercomputing technology on Microsoft's Azure cloud computing service.
Microsoft announced last year that they were working on integrating DALL-E 2 into Bing.
This latest move, however, might be the most significant yet.
Bing has a 75% hole in market share to make up if they want to catch Google, and ChatGPT being the cultural sensation it is could be just what the doctor ordered.
Let's be honest, who even remembered Bing existed???
Incorporating ChatGPT into Bing is unquestionably a gigachad move by Microsoft, but Google is still the undisputed king of search engines.
And Google isn't going to let Bing overthrow them without a fight.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Google responds.
It can't be better than this TikTok by Redpoint.

Story we're watching: New York City schools have banned ChatGPT, citing rampant student cheating. They will surely not be the last to do so, and it will be interesting to see how the use of AI in education proceeds from here.

The best resources we came across this week that will help you become a better founder, builder, or investor.
🤝 The YC Founders Directory went live. I got distracted and spent 30 min on there.
🐦 Tweet Hunter added a collab feature for ghostwriting and SMMs. I use it to push tweets to founder and VC clients for review.
🧠 Check out the MIT Technology Review. Despite being the alma mater of Sam Bankman-Fried, they put out some damn good work.
